EXCLUSIVE: Meet Mr. Uwaoma Okoli Silver with 47 years of painting experience at Bauchi

Pause Pause. Wow! are you thinking of stopping at twenty? You would have missed ‘How I lost my virginity’. Yes… you are not the only one that saw that it was the first book I saw in these set, funny how our minds work right? Well, that made me realize that Joash in his journey didn’t neglect one of the essentials of effective living; emotions. So we might have to update our list of categories to books on personal effectiveness, relationship, financial management, and leadership. If you think we skipped a category, how about dropping it in the comment box? In fact, that will be awesome!

You are probably curious about how much has changed in Joash’s life after gaining this much knowledge.

  • What does it feels like?
  • What has change?
  • What is his state of mind at the moment?
  • does he think differently compared to 72 weeks ago?

Well, this is what he has to say;
“A lot has changed…
Firstly, I have become more effective in planning my day… I have a dedicated daily routine that shares my day by the hour. That helps me not to think too much and thus move smoothly from activity to activity.
I’ve also developed other alpha habits…like meditation, I meditate four times a day now for 15 minutes each time (at 4 am, 12 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm)… Helps me to stay calm, focused and really deploy my full mental strength on a single activity”

Wow! The impact of diligent reading is reflected in his words, the eloquence is obviously surpassed in each sentence. Simple, yet inspiring words we have gotten from Joash. With this, I am certain that you will want to go through the last twenty books with me.

49. Made to Stick – Chip Heath and Dan Heath
50. Positioning: The battle for your mind – Al Reis’s and Jack Trout
51. Take the Risk – Ben Carson
52. Garcia Hands – Ben Carson
53. Never Eat Alone – Keith Ferrazzi

Well well well, here we are with the full list of all 60 books read by Joash in 72 weeks with just a few repeated authors (twice each); Jen Sincero, Stephen Covey, and Eckhart Tolle. Joash had this to say concerning these authors;
“They are my favorites…for different reasons. Mostly because the books had a sequel and I had to read the next one to get the complete information”.
He also noted that Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien was entered as 3 different books because it is a trilogy so he had to read all.

I am sure the journey through Joash’s library has challenged you to become a better reader. One of the important things to learn from Joash’s journey is time management which is one of the major sources of personal effectiveness. You have to go on such a journey to discover more about yourself and manage your time wisely, it is your first capital for achieving your dreams. I mean, what on earth is better than knowing yourself, being with the love of your life, making money, and impacting your world as a leader?

Have you read some of the books here? If you have, I am sure you will want to tell us about it. And you might wish to drop a thank you message to Joash for the inspiration!
